    The Jordan Demographic and Health Survey is part of phase 5 of the DHS series, a comprehensive, nationally representative household survey. The survey was administered to 14, households ever-married women ages living in the households. Those living in remote areas and institutions were excluded from the sample frame. Jordan The Human Capital Index (HCI) database provides data at the country level for each of the components of the Human Capital Index as well as for the overall index, disaggregated by gender. The index measures the amount of human capital that a child born today can expect to attain by given the risks of poor health and poor education.
